"PAI LA MA WAI"
is the chair that use in public space. The design concept inspire
from "WAI" , traditional greeting in Thai. Thai people use "WAI" before and after that greeting ,(arrive and leaving) and also use in case of showing respect someone, similar to shake hand in international style.
*PAI and LA means arriving and leaving
HOW TO "WAI"
Put your palms together in front of your chest and bowing. We always use it together with say SAWADEE (hello) or LAKORN (good bye).
So all the reason and idea that is come to the name of this "PAI LA MA WAI" chair.
